CIMC SOE held a steel cutting ceremony SPP40 PSV

On November 7, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd (CIMC SOE) successfully held a steel cutting ceremony for the SPP40 oil platform supply vessel (PSV) in the West Area Hull Workshop.

It is understood that this multifunctional oil PSV has a total length of 81.75 meters, a beam of 17.40 meters, a depth of 7.8 meters and a designed draft of 6.3 meters with a load capacity of 4,000 tons.

Classed by BV (Bureau Veritas), the vessel is equipped with two bow thrusters and two azimuth propellers, adopts an oil-electric hybrid power system.

Equipped with an unmanned cabin, a 7-day zero-emission system, a secondary dynamic positioning system, vessel can perform first-level external firefighting operations and remove oil pollution on the sea surface.

The deck cargo area reaches 800 square meters and is specifically designed for transporting various materials, including methanol, fresh water, fuel oil, cement, mud, drilling water, and deck cargo.
