CSSC signed contracts worth US$560 million at the CIIE

On November 5, the opening ceremony of the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and Hongqiao International Economic Forum was held in Shanghai.

At the CIIE, 10 members of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) signed 19 projects with 16 international partners from 11 countries and regions, with a contract value of US$560 million.

Specifically, the transaction products cover various important supporting equipment in the field of shipbuilding, such as main engines, turbochargers, liquid cargo systems, and generator sets. The signing of these projects will further enhance the modernization level of CSSC’s industrial chain and supply chain, and provide strong support for building a world-class shipbuilding group with strong international competitiveness.

It is reported that the 7th CIIE is held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from November 5 to 10. The overall exhibition area of ​​this CIIE will exceed 420,000 square meters. There are 152 countries, regions and international organizations will participate in national and corporate exhibitions, and 297 Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders will participate, setting a record high.
