On October 30th, Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding successfully launched a 3500TEU dual-fuel (LNG+MGO) container vessel for a German ship owner at its 4# slipway.
Classed by DNV, the vessel has an overall length of 248.00m, a beam of 35.20m, a design draft of 11.00m, a maximum deadweight of 51,000 tons and a design speed of 19.5 knots. This series of 3,500 TEU dual-fuel container vessels is designed by HBHUNTE design company from Germany and adopts bow type design.
The main fuel of this vessel is LNG (natural gas) and MGO (diesel fuel), and it adopts vertical tank, which is the largest vertical tank on board in the world. The vessel can carry more than 1,000 reefer containers and is equipped with a reefer monitoring system. The EEDI index of the vessel meets and exceeds the current industry standard, and its environmental performance is far beyond that of its peers.
On the same day, Sanfu Shipbuilding delivered an 11,000DWT multi-purpose vessel built for a German ship owner.
The 11000 DWT multi-purpose vessel series is a green, low-carbon and high-efficiency vessel built by Sanfu Shipbuilding, which is jointly designed by the shipbuilder and Dutch design company.
Recently, this series of vessels has passed the certification of the first set of major technical equipment in Jiangsu Province in 2024 by the provincial industry and information technology department of Jiangsu.
