Norway’s KNOT takes delivery of a 154,000 DWT shuttle tanker

On October 30, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) successfully signed and delivered the sixth 154,000 DWT shuttle tanker “HEDDA KNUTSEN” built for Norway’s KNOT.

It is said that this series of shuttle tankers are innovatively researched and developed by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Design & Research Institute, and have completely independent intellectual property rights. The 154,000 DWT shuttle tanker has a total length of 278.9 meters, a width of 47 meters, a depth of 24.9 meters, and a design draft of 16 meters.

So far, six of the 10 shuttle tankers undertaken by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) have been successfully delivered, and the construction of the seventh shuttle tanker N1012 has also started and is progressing in an orderly manner according to the established plan.
