Jianglong Shipbuilding received an order for 12 steel and aluminum workboats from Norwegian shipowner Moen Marin

On October 30, Jianglong Shipbuilding, China small and medium sized high-performance boats Manufacturer, released an announcement about the signing of shipbuilding contracts and ship orders.

The announcement disclosed that Jianglong Shipbuilding signed SHIP BUILDING CONTRACT with Moen Marin AS of Norway on October 29, for 12 steel and aluminum workboats, of which 6 are of (Nab Cat21x12m) type, 3 are of (Nab The subject of the contract is 12 steel and aluminum workboats.

Among them, 6 of them are (Nab Cat21x12m) type, 3 of them are (Nab Cat24x13m) type, 3 of them are (Nab Work26x12m) type, with a total contract amount of RMB 629 million (about US$88.2 million).

The above contract is a master contract, and as for each steel and aluminum workboat, the parties also need to sign ship orders based on the master contract.

Among them, the ship orders have been signed are 2 Nab Cat21x12m type workboats, 1 Nab Cat24x13m type workboat and 1 Nab Work26x12m type workboat, with a total order amount of RMB 210 million (about US$29.4 million).

According to the announcement, the total contract amount is RMB629 million, accounting for 53.04% of Jianglong Shipbuilding’s audited operating income for the year 2023; and the total amount of ship orders is RMB210 million, accounting for 17.68% of the company’s audited operating income for the year 2023.

The order is expected to have a positive impact on the operating results of Jianglong Shipbuilding in the next 1 to 2 years, which will enhance the company’s competitiveness in the overseas market, brand influence and is beneficial to the further development of overseas markets.

It is understood that Moen Marin is the world’s largest supplier of workboats for the aquaculture industry. In December last year, Jianglong Shipbuilding also signed a contract with the owner of two 20-meter-class aquaculture workboats.
