On October 25th, Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Ship Industry Co., Ltd. (Jinglu Shipyard) successfully delivered the 4th 3,000 TEU container ship “CELSIUS EMMEM” built for Danish shipowner CELSIUS SHIPPING, marking the successful closing of this series of newbuilding projects. CELSIUS SHIPPING is also the 22nd ship delivered by Jinglu Shipyard this year.
This container ship has a beam of 35.2m, a draft of 11.0m, is powered by a low-speed engine with a continuous power of 14,880 kW and a single engine and a single propeller, with a speed of 19 knots and has a capacity of 3,006 standard containers.
Classed by ABS, ‘CELSIUS EMMEN’ has a range of about 15,700 nautical miles. This ship type belongs to medium-range container ship, which can be arranged in feeder line operation as well as medium-range mainline operation, which is an efficient and economical container ship with green environment protection.
It is reported that JJinglu Shipyard has successfully delivered four 3,000TEU container ships of the series for the shipowner, and the first three have been put into service.
