On October 22, Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding (Sanfu Shipbuilding) held a delivery ceremony for a 11,000DWT multi-purpose vessel built for a German shipowner.
Classed by BV, the 11000DWT multi-purpose vessel has an overall length of 149.95 meters, a beam of 23.20 meters, a depth of 10.5 meters and a designed draft of 8.50 meters with a speed of 15.5 knots.
Jointly designed by Sanfu Shipbuilding and a Dutch design company, the vessel is the fourth in the 11000DWT multi-purpose vessel series built by Sanfu Shipbuilding. It is a green, low-carbon, high-efficiency multi-purpose vessel , and the German shipowner has ordered a total of 15 vessels of the same type from Sanfu Shipbuilding.
The vessel is driven by a single fixed pitch propeller and a low-speed diesel engine, the main engine of is MAN B&W 6G45 ME-C9.5. There are two 250T cranes on the port side of the deck, with a maximum combined lifting weight of 500 tons.
