Micro Prower signed a methanol STS bunkering system supply agreement

On October 17th, Shanghai Micro Prower (Micro Prower) under Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research institute (SMDERI) and Zhoushan Runji Shipping signed the ethanol ship to ship (STS) bunkering system “supply agreement at the seventh global shipping fuel development special conference (IPEC) held in Zhoushan.

The 6670DWT chemical tanker is planned to be put into use by the end of 2025, which will fill the gap of methanol bunkering in Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, contributing to the green transformation of the shipping industry.

Shanghai Micro Prower is responsible for providing a complete set of methanol STS bunkering system to the chemical tanker. This system is the first system in China with completely independent intellectual property rights, which provides: methanol composite hose, dry quick coupling, emergency departure device, monitoring system, installation guidance, system debugging and crew training services, etc., helping the smooth delivery and efficient operation of 6670DWT chemical tanks.
