Jiangnan Shipyard launched two vessels and floated another two

On October 14, Jiangnan Shipyard under China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC) launched a 99,000 m³ ultra large ethane ethylene carrier and a 7800 CEU PCTC (pure car and track carrier), and floated a 99,000 m³ ultra-large ethane ethylene carrier and a half of 7800 CEU PCTC in the No.4 dock simultaneously.

One of the two vessels launched this time is the first 99,000 m³ VLEC in the series built for Southwest Maritime and the other is the second 7800 CEU PCTC built for SAIC Anji Logistics.

The half floated vessels are the second 99,000 m³ VLEC in the series built for Southwest Maritime and the third 7,800 CEU LNG dual-fuel PCTC in the series built for SAIC Anji Logistics.

It is the fourth batch of launching for Jiangnan Shipyard in No. 4 dock this year, and the scheduled launching completely solves the production risk and ensures the smooth completion of the annual five batches of launching tasks for No. 4 dock.
