On October 12, CSSC Jiujiang Industrial Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation(DSIC).
Li Guoxuan, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of CSSC Jiujiang Industrial, and He Xu, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of DSIC, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out long-term close cooperation in the market development, technical support and maintenance services of key ships and ship and offshore products such as boilers, fire protection and interior decoration. At the same time, the two parties will give full play to their respective advantages, jointly promote innovation-driven development, and further enhance their international competitiveness in the field of ship assembly and construction and marine equipment.
DSIC is one of the core key customers of CSSC Jiujiang Industrial, and CSSC Jiujiang Industrial has created a hundred million yuan level supporting facilities for it. In recent years, the internal allocation rate of CSSC Jiujiang Industrial Mitsubishi boilers in DSIC is more than 90%, especially the 300KVLCC series marine boilers are basically 100% of CSSC Jiujiang Industrial Mitsubishi boilers.
In 2024, CSSC Jiujiang Industrial expects to sign contracts for fire protection, interior installation, boiler and other businesses in DSIC for approximately RMB 190 million. Among them, 29 boiler contracts are expected to be signed throughout the year, with a contract amount of RMB 120 million.
Next, CSSC Jiujiang Industrial will provide the optimal resource allocation for DSIC supporting projects, and establish a rapid response mechanism in product delivery, commissioning training, spare parts provision, maintenance services, etc., to fully support the rapid delivery of DSIC.
The development of product industry represented by boiler is a remarkable achievement of CSSC Jiujiang Industrial’s implementation of comprehensive substantive reform and integrated development, which provides an opportunity for CSSC Jiujiang Industrial to strengthen exchanges and deepen cooperation in multiple fields with major shipyards and research institutes in CSSC. CSSC Jiujiang Industrial adopted innovative technology, successfully built the “Jiujiang Mitsubishi” boiler brand, filled the gap in the Marine boiler supporting business of CSSC, and its market share continued to increase.
