On October 11, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) under CSSC, floats out a 180,000 DWT dual-fuel bulk carrier built for NYK and a 114,000 DWT Aframac products built for Thenamaris.
As the first ship built for NYK, this 180,000 DWT dual-fuel bulk carrier is SWS’s last handheld 180,000 DWT dual-fuel bulk carrier.
The 114,000 DWT Aframac product tanker is the second vessel SWS has built for Thenamaris. During the construction of the vessel, SWS is able to draw on its previous experience in the construction of the product tanker.
