Jiangsu’s Ship Export Scale Ranks First In China

The shipbuilder holds an orderbook of 40,000 cbm medium-sized clean energy gas carriers, which accounts for about 20% of the global market, and has a full schedule of hand-held orders until 2028.

“Different from ordinary bulk carriers, self-discharging bulk carriers belong to high value-added class ships, with extremely high unloading efficiency and seaworthiness. Taking a 26,000 DWT self-discharging bulk carrier as an example, it takes about five hours to offload the whole cargo, while it takes at least two or three days to complete it for an ordinary bulk carrier.” Huang Gang, manager of the company’s shipbuilding operation department, introduced.
