On October 10, China shipbuilder CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding held a Steel Cutting Ceremony for a 115000 DWT product tanker which was built for CAPE SHIPPING S.A.
This product tanker has a total length of 249.80 meters, a width of 44.00 meters and a design draft of 13.75 meters with a cargo hold that can carry more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil products.
The main engine and generator are HPSCR and LPSCR respectively, and both meet the IMO Tier III emission standards. Its handling performance, economic performance, energy-saving and green environmental protection performance are better than those of the same type of ships with strong market competitiveness.
It is reported that this is the first product oil tanker built by CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding.
