BOCOM Leasing welcome a 62,000 DWT heavy lifting vessel

On October 10, CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding (Yangzhou) held the naming and delivery ceremony of a 62,000 DWT heavy crane vessel built for BOCOM Leasing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of Communications. The vessel named “Jinfu”, is the third of 12 62,000 DWT heavy crane vessels undertaken by CSSC Chengxi Shipbuilding (Yangzhou), which was delivered 81 days ahead of the contract period.

It is reported that “Jinfu” is currently the world’s largest tonnage heavy crane multi-purpose vessel. The total length of the vessel is 199.90 meters, the width is 32.26 meters and the depth is 19.30 meters with a design speed of 14.4KN, which is classed by LR.

The vessel takes into account both cargo hold loading and deck loading modes, and can load bulk cargo, pulp, containers, wind power equipment, new energy vehicles and large modules, etc., to achieve true multi-function and multi-purpose.

Founded in December 2007, the Bank of Communications Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BoCom Leasing) is one of the first five financial leasing companies approved by the State Council and is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of Communications, with a registered capital of RMB 14 billion.

Its business scope covers key industries and fields such as aviation, shipping, transportation infrastructure, public utilities, energy and electricity, and machinery and equipment, so as to fully serve the new development pattern taking the domestic great cycle as the main body and where the domestic and international dual cycles support each other.
