Amoysailing Maritime, a subsidiary of Amoysailing Group, is further expanding its fleet and has already placed an order for new vessels from a Chinese shipyard.
According to industry news, Amoysailing Maritime has signed a contract with Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment Co.,Ltd.(JSHT) for the construction of four 64,000 dwt Ultramax bulk carriers, with a total value of about US$136 million (about RMB 962 million). The new vessels are expected to be delivered in 2026.
Since the beginning of this year, Amoysailing Maritime has been active in the second-hand vessel market, and has purchased 4 vessels built from 2016 to 2019.
According to public information, Amoysailing Maritime was established in 2003 and belongs to Amoysailing Group. According to the official website fleet list, it currently has a fleet of nine bulk carriers with a deadweight ranging from 56,000 tons to 82,000 tons, which were completed and delivered between 2006 and 2012.
The company has professional vessel management talents and complete vessel management software and hardware equipment. The business scope covers vessel management services, vessel maintenance services, vessel supervision services, and vessel technical services, of which vessel management services are one of its core businesses.
According to incomplete statistics, JSHT has received orders for at least 16+2 bulk carrier this year, including 82,000 dwt methanol dual-fuel bulk carriers of Fujian Shipping Company.
JSHT is located in the first class open ports, the provincial key shipbuilding park. With a total land area of 500,000 m2, has 660m outfitting quay. JSHT promotes modern shipbuilding model, has one dry dock of 400m*50m; with one 1,100ton and one 300ton gantry crane; 10,000ton outfitting quay with two 4075 cranes; has pretreatment workshop, steel-cutting workshop, block workshop, piping workshop and painting workshop etc., the total production workshop area is 100,000 m2, with other 1000 sets advanced equipment.
