On October 8th, China shipbuilder Beihai Shipbuilding under the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) signed the delivery agreement of 210,000 DWT ammonia Ready bulk carrier “MINERAL EIRE” with Belgium CMB, which is the 8th bulk carrier in the serices built for CMB.
“MINERAL EIRE” adopts advanced ammonia fuel ready technology, which ensures that it will be able to adapt to newer environmental requirements in future operations.
On the same day, the 7th 5500 TEU container ship built for CMA CGM started its sea trials.
