ZPMC delivered two new-generation offshore wind power equipment

On September 19, a delivery ceremony was held for the “Haifeng 1001” 2,500-ton self-propelled jack-up wind power installation platform and “Haifeng 1002” 1,800-ton self-propelled jack-up wind power installation platform projects constructed by ZPMC.

The“Haifeng 1001”wind power installation platform has a length of 133.8m, a width of 50m, a depth of 11m, and a 2,500t of full-circle slewing pile crane on the starboard side of the stern. The platform is the largest wind power installation platform built in China so far and fully realizes domestic design and production. After completion, it is suitable for sandy soil, cohesive soil or similar geological operations. It is mainly used for installing 15 MW and above unit equipment, which can simultaneously carry 2 sets of 20 MW fan unit equipment, operate in a water depth of 70m at most, sail in all navigation areas including Ice Class B and hang the Chinese flag approved by the CCS (China Classification Society).

Both platforms have a crew of 130 people, with DP2 power positioning for unlimited area navigation. The lifting system adopts truss type pile legs and rack and pinion frequency control technology, which can ensure the lifting is loaded uniformly and realize the lifting speed of 0.5m per minute, and the designed pile pulling capacity is 15,000 tons in China. The platform is equipped with a ship-wide informatization and digital management system, which realizes the functions of digital monitoring of operation and maintenance of important systems, intelligent data analysis and remote fault diagnosis.

The two platforms will serve in the offshore wind farms to carry out various wind power engineering operations, including 20 megawatts offshore wind turbine tower, nacelle, blade installation and fan foundation construction, as well as other offshore lifting operations or support for China’s offshore wind power to the deep and distant sea, offshore wind power to realize the high-quality development of clean energy.
