On September 28th, 5 sets of main power generator sets for the world’s leading and the first large-scale domestic well stimulation vessel “Haiyang Shiyou 696” was successfully completed the factory acceptance test (FAT), which was manufactured by China State Shipbuilding Corporation Shanxi Diesel Heavy Industry.
The vessel adopts all-electric propulsion, equipped with two sets of electric propulsion fully-rotating thrusters, one retractable thruster and two sets of bow thrusters, 3 sets of SXD-MAN14V30/40 and 2 sets of SXD-9LMAN32/40 diesel generator sets manufactured by Shanxi Diesel Heavy Industry provide propulsion power, with a total power of 30,000 Kw.
With mature technology, reliable performance, high degree of automation and intelligence, the two types generator sets is widely used in Marine power, land power station and other fields, and can provide a constant supply of energy for “Haiyang Shiyou 696”.
It is understood that “Haiyang Shiyou 696” has strong operation capability, high degree of integration, superior propulsion performance, high degree of automation and green intelligence. With the safe operation capability of large displacement, high power and large storage, it is the first integrated offshore oilfield fracturing engineering vessel in China, and its overall performance has reached the world’s leading level.
“Haiyang Shiyou 696” measures a length of 99.8 meters, a beam of 22 meters and a depth of 9.9 meters. After completion, the vessel will meet the new needs of large-scale fracturing operations in the whole sea area of China, multi-well batch fracturing operations in the sea, as well as gas Wells, ultra-deep fracturing operations, which will fill the gap in the field of fracturing technology and engineering in China’s offshore oil fields.
