On September 29th, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) held a naming and delivery ceremony for the second 63,600 DWT bulk carrier built for China Merchants Bank (CMB) Financial Leasing and Zhejiang Xinyihai SHIPPING. The bulk carrier was named “Emerald Jintang”.
“EMERALD JINTANG” is 199.9 meters in length, 32.26 meters in breadth and 13.5 meters in structural draft.
“EMERALD JINTANG” is the 12th of COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Zhoushan)’s 63,600 DWT bulk carrier series delivered, and also the second 63,600 DWT bulk carrier built for Zhejiang Xinyihai SHIPPING.
The project was contracted in June 2022 and includes three 63,600 dwt bulk carriers. This bulk carrier is a high-quality bulk carrier independently researched, developed by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Design & Research Institute to synthesize the needs of the market, and the product conforms to the development trend of green and energy-saving.
