Navig8 welcomes two new 50,000 DWT Class II chemical tankers

On September 20, New Times Shipbuilding held the delivery ceremony of two Class II chemical tankers, which were successfully delivered to the British shipowner Navig8 for operation.

On September 21 and 22, two 50,000 DWT Class II chemical tankers left the New Times Shipbuilding’s terminal to begin their new journey.

On September 18, a grand naming ceremony was held for the fourth of the six 50,000 DWT Class II chemical tankers, which was named “NAVIG8 ESTELLE”. The chemical tankers are equipped with Marineline paint coatings and advanced energy saving and emission reduction technologies such as air lubrication systems, which greatly expands the NAVIG8’s modern and environmentally friendly tanker fleet.

It is understood that Navig8 is an old friend of New Times Shipbuilding, and since the first cooperation in 2016, the two sides have maintained good exchanges and cooperation for a long time, and so far, the two sides have signed orders for a total of 26 ships.
