Germany’s Hartmann takes delivery of 3rd 7,200 m3 dual-fuel LEG carrier

On September 20, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd (CIMC SOE) held a naming and delivery ceremony for the third 7,200 m3 dual-fuel LEG carrier built for Hartmann Group of Germany.

The godmother, Ms. Riri Hisatomi, named the LEG carrier “GasChem Phoenix”. The delivery of GasChem Phoenix marks the complete success of the cooperation between CIMC SOE and Hartmann Group, and lays a solid foundation for the deeper cooperation between the two parties in the future.

According to statistics, in the first half of 2024, CIMC SOE has won orders for 12 newbuildings, including 4 LPG/Liquid Ammonia carriers of 40,000 m3, 8 LNG carriers, LNG bunkering vessels, etc., and its orders have been scheduled until 2028.

In addition, CIMC SOE has realized the technological innovation and upgrading of marine fuel tank equipment, completed the first application of high manganese steel material in the field of domestic marine fuel tanks, as well as the delivery of a new type of LNG (Ammonia/Methanol Ready) stainless steel marine fuel tanks, the world’s first vertical dual-ear fuel tanks, etc.
