CMB Financial Leasing takes delivery of a 77,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp vessel

On September 20, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian) held a delivery and naming ceremony for the 77,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp vessel GREEN SALVADOR, which was built for China Merchants Bank (CMB) Financial Leasing.

GREEN SALVADOR is the 10th 77,000 DWT multi-purpose pulp vessel delivered by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian).

GREEN SALVADOR has an overall length of 225.00 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 21.00 meters and a design speed of 15 knots. The cargo hold has good sealing and dryness, which can fully guarantee the quality and safety of pulp cargo transportation.

In addition to transporting pulp, the multi-purpose pulp vessel with excellent cargo hold suitability can also transport a wide range of cargoes such as high-speed rail trains, wind power equipment, large machinery and equipment, and super-long and super-heavy steel pipe pile structures, etc.

GREEN SALVADOR adds “one-to-one” temperature monitoring and early warning systems for new energy vehicles, which can safely transport new energy vehicles while carrying imported pulp.

This series of vessels meets IMO Tier III for pollutant and nitrogen oxide emissions, vibration and noise meets the requirements of the Rules for Green-Eco Ships which is newly effective by China Classification Society (CCS). In addition, the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) for vessels far exceeds the IMO Phase III requirements.
