Shanghai Pilot Station inks with Jianglong Shipbuilding for two 18-meter aluminum alloy traffic boats

On September 19th, Shanghai Pilot Station inks with Jianglong Shipbuilding for two 18-meter aluminum alloy traffic boats.

This project is Jianglong Shipbuilding’s second undertaking of the pilot boat project of Shanghai Port Pilotage Station after the delivery of “Hugang Yinjiao 23” in 2023, which demonstrates the brand strength of Jianglong Shipbuilding in the specialized pilot boat segment.

After the delivery of the two boats, they will become an important equipment to serve the integrated development strategy of the Yangtze River Delta and help Shanghai build an international first-class port city.

The pilot boat is of single deep V-type high-speed traffic boat, built with all-aluminum alloy structure, with an overall length of 18 meters, a beam of 4.6 meters, and a depth of 2.0 meters. It adopts double-engine and double-propeller propulsion, with a design speed of 24.3 knots.

The pilot boat has a smooth and beautiful appearance, with low wind resistance, good maneuverability, stability and resistance to wind and waves. With an excellent comprehensive performance, it will provide professional, safe and efficient pilotage service for ships entering and leaving the Yangtze River and Shanghai port.
