SPDB Financial Leasing takes delivery of a 7,000 CEU LNG dual-fuel PCTC

On September 19, Guangzhou Shipbuilding International (GSI), a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), held a naming and delivery ceremony for a 7,000 CEU LNG dual-fuel PCTC (pure car and track carrier) built for SPDB Financial Leasing.

This is the 8th PCTC built and delivered by GSI, which was completed and delivered more than 7 months earlier than the contract period. It is understood that after delivery, the first voyage of this PCTC will be Southeast Africa route to serve

After delivery, the first voyage for this PCTC will be the Southeast Africa route to serve the countries along the “Belt and Road” and helping Chinese automobile brands to go global.

The PCTC has a length of 199.9 meters, a width of 38 meters, a design draft of 8.6 meters and a service speed of 19 knots, with a total of 12 vehicle decks.

It can carry cars, vans, trucks etc., of which the top two decks can carry new energy vehicles.
