On September 18th, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding cut steel for one vessel (Hull NO.H1906A) and laid keel for another vessel (Hull NO.H1905A) of CMA CGM Group’s 23,000 TEU dual-fuel container ship project.
H1905A and H1906A container ships are the 2nd and 3rd unit of CMA CGM Group’s project respectively. The ships have an overall length of 399 meters, a beam of 61.3 meters and a design draft of 14.5 meters. It can carry 220,000 tons of cargo, with 23,872 TEU containers and 2,200 standard reefer containers, which is a green ship.
This container ship is a typical example of Hudong-Zhonghua’s high-end marine equipment. Its high-end, intelligent and green features are highly recognized by customers and the industry, which demonstrates Hudong-Zhonghua’s leading position in the international shipbuilding field.
