Wenchang 19-1 oilfield is located in the western part of the Pearl River Estuary Basin, with a sea water depth of about 125 meters.

Its second phase development project, the new Wenchang 19-1D platform, is a comprehensive multi-functional offshore oil and gas drilling platform integrating production, oil and gas treatment, drilling and repairing wells, living and power supply, and it is connected to the Wenchang 19-1A platform through a trestle bridge.

The completed loading of the topsides module weighs about 13,000 tons, with a length of 88 meters, a width of 38 meters and a height of 72 meters, and is designed with three decks: upper, middle and lower.
