On September 11, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS), a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), successfully named the 9th ship -“ONE RESOLUTION” in the series of 7,000 TEU containerships built for Seaspan.
“ONE RESOLUTION” has an overall length of 272.00 meters, a beam of 42.8 meters and a design draft of 15 meters with a design speed of 21.0 kn. It meets the TIER Ⅲ specification, and is classed by Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
ONE RESOLUTION is an environmentally friendly vessel with superior fuel efficiency. The containership utilizes state-of-the-art technology to ensure safe and stable operation in the complex global maritime environment.
The owner said that ONE RESOLUTION is the 9th ship of Seaspan series of 7000TEU containerships, Seaspan has full confidence in Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding. And the company not only look forward to the cooperation between the two sides on PCTC project, but also look forward to more in-depth cooperation with the shipbuilder on other vessels in the future.
