On September 11th, New Dayang Shipbuilding under Sumec marine held a naming and delivery ceremony for a 3.0 version Crown 63 PLUS bulk carrier built for Chellaram Company in Hong Kong, China, and the new shibuilding was named “DARYA DIYA”.
DARYA DIYA is the 18th vessel delivered by New Dayang Shipbuilding this year. DARYA DIYA has an overall length of 199.99 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters and a depth of 18.80 meters. It is the “star” product of Xindayang Shipbuilding, and has completely independent intellectual property rights. So far, Xindayang Shipbuilding has built and delivered hundreds of vessels of this type.
This type of vessel has three major advantages: good index, excellent design and complete configuration.
Chellaram was founded in Hong Kong in 1978 with a history of more than 40 years. The company manages a fleet of 24 dry-bulk carriers from Handysize to Kamsarmax size vessels. with a total deadweight tonnage of 1,370,294 MT and an average age of 3.8 years.
