CMJL (Weihai) steel cut for ​Stena RoRo’s 13th ro-pax vessel

On September 11th, China Merchants Jingling Shipyard (Weihai) Co. Ltd. CMJL (Weihai) held a steel cutting ceremoy for the 13th high-end ro-pax vessel build for the owner of ​Stena RoRo.

With an overall length of 202.9 meters, a beam of 27.8 meters and a design draft of 6.5 meters, the vessel is capable of carrying 1,026 passengers and 74 crew members.

With a lane length of 2,505 meters and a design speed of 23 knots, the vessel is equipped with two main engines, two sets of bow thrusters and two LNG tanks, which will be delivered to ports in Corsica, France.
