DP World and ZPMC hold signing ceremony for 5,000 T floating sheerleg crane ship

On September 10, Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC) and DP World held a signing ceremony for a 5,000 floating sheerleg crane ship in Dubai, UAE.

It is understood that the 5,000 T crane ship is fully undertaken by ZPMC for design, procurement, construction and shipping.

The ship meets the requirements of high temperature operation in the Persian Gulf. It is 138.5 meters in length, 52 meters in breadth, 5.8 meters in design draft and it can accommodate 58 persons.

The main hook is of 5000 tons with 120 meters lifting height and the secondary hook is of 600 tons with 180 meters lifting height. Equipped with mooring and positioning system, it is suitable for offshore module installation, offshore wind power installation, bridge lifting, large engineering ship general assembly and other projects.

After delivery, the ship will be the largest crane ship of its type in the Persian Gulf and Africa.
