Through innovative structural forms and combined with the advantages of wing sails and rotary sails, this product can ensure the energy-saving effects in all directions of wind and reduce the EEDI and CII levels of ships. This technology can not only promote the high-quality development of wind propulsion technology for ships, but also can serve as an effective way to reduce carbon emissions of IMO.
Established in February 2022, Guangdong Guangchuan International Marine Science and Technology Research Institute is committed to building a first-class new research and development organization in the field of ocean technology, focusing on the research and development of green, intelligent, high-end ships, polar marine equipment, electromechanical equipment, etc. as well as the research of experimental technologies such as intelligent welding, metrology and testing.
The institute now has three centers, namely, Ship R&D Center, Equipment Industry R&D Center and Engineering Experiment Center.
