During SMM 2024, COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. actively participated in the exhibition with its main companies, and Nantong Ocean Ship Equipment/COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry Technology (Weihai) (CHIT) made a wonderful appearance at the exhibition as a technology-based enterprise of R&D and engineering manufacturing of marine equipments in the supporting business segment.
During the exhibition, Nantong Ocean Ship Equipment/CHIT obtained type approval of alternative fuel control monitoring and safety system (liquefied natural gas, methanol, and ammonia) issued by the China Classification Society (CCS).
This certificate is not only the first type approval certificate of dual-fuel control system meeting SL2 network security level issued by CCS, but also the first type approval certificate of methanol fuel and ammonia fuel supply control system in China, which indicates that the core control technology of “Blue Ocean Shield” marine alternative fuel supply system has reached the international leading level.
In recent years, Nantong Ocean Ship Equipment/CHIT has focused on the national strategic goal of “double carbon”, actively promoted research and development in the field of clean energy, and successively launched a number of practicable solutions.
