On September 6th, Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC) held a grand delivery ceremony for the multi-purpose diving support vessel “Wadad Aletheia”.
Classed by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), “Wadad Aletheia” is one of the most advanced diving vessels in the world which was built for CCC UE. It has a length of 145.9 meters, a beam of 27 meters, a depth of 11.33 meters, and it accommodates a crew of 200. Equipped with a 400-ton wave-compensated telescopic crane and DP3 positioning system, it has a maximum speed of 15.8 knots.

“Wadad Aletheia has an operating deck area of 1,850 square meters, which exceeds that of similar vessels. In addition to the diving system moon pool, the vessel is designed with a large 7.2m x 7.2m operating moon pool, which allows for the vertical deployment of flexible pipe-laying systems and light drilling systems.
The main deck has a minimum load capacity of 15 tons per square meter, while the reinforced deck area has a load capacity of up to 50 tons per square meter, which can effectively support the transportation and deployment of heavy equipment and special machinery required for various construction projects.
