On September 3rd, at the world’s most influential Hamburg Maritime Exhibition (SMM) in Germany, “MAN Cryo+Yada” held a grand signing ceremony with CSSC Wuchang Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, witnessed by senior director of French LDA Shipping Group.
“MAN Cryo+Yada” will provide methanol fuel supply system, including methanol supply skid, for Airbus’ sail assisted RORO transport ship, which is certified by BV Classification Society.
The senior directors of France’s Louis Dreyfus Shipping Group, CSSC Wuchang Shipbuilding, MAN, and BV classification societies all attended, witnessed, and fully recognized the efforts made by “MAN Cryo+Yada” in the field of dual fuel systems.
After built and delivered by Wuchang Shipyard, the vessels will transport Airbus aircraft components across the Atlantic between Airbus’ production base in Saint Nazaire, France and the single aisle aircraft assembly line in Mobile, Alabama, USA. To make significant contributions to achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, it is a good demonstration of modern green and low-carbon ships supporting the sustainable development of shipping!
