Recently, Rizhao Kingda Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Shandong Port Equipment Group, successfully delivered the 8,000 DWT self-propelled deck carrier “Yihang Jinyun 2” to CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd.
Designed by the Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI), “Yihang Jinyun 2” has an overall length of 115.2 meters, a beam of 26 meters with a maximum deadweight of 8,000 tons.
With a large deck cargo area of about 5 standard basketball courts, the deck carrier can carry 60T heavy-duty vehicles, and can be used as an auxiliary vessel for piling driving vessels and wind power construction vessels, as well as to meet the demand for transportation of raw materials and medium and large-sized components.
The vessel has excellent maneuvering performance and can achieve positioning in 50-meter operating water depth and Class 6 wind conditions. Meanwhile, it is equipped with an intelligent energy consumption management system, which can real-time assess its navigation and equipment status, realize real-time fuel measurement and automatic distribution of power, which is more green and energy-saving.
