Dajin Heavy Industry delivers 4 vessels in 3 days

Recently, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Bestway Marine & Energy Technology, Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry (Dajin Heavy Industry) has received good news kept coming, welcomed deliveries of two vessels and the successful closing of the first batch of 5,200 DWT/5,900 DWT series of multi-purpose vessels.

On August 23rd, Dajin Heavy Industry held a delivery ceremony for the 110m pile driver “Sanhang Zhuang 21” for CCCC Sanhang Bureau at the outfitting quay of Dajin Heavy Industry.

The pile driver kicked off on December 5, 2023 taking 244 days to complete and was successfully delivered as scheduled. With an overall length of 80.15 meters and a length of 72.00 meters, the vessel meets international conventions and also meets the requirements for piling operations in areas such as coastal and sheltered seas.

The delivery of the vessel will greatly promote the piling construction capacity in the fields of wharf construction, bridge engineering, hydraulic engineering and wind power engineering in China, and become the key infrastructure equipment for the construction of major offshore projects.

On August 22nd, representatives of Dajin Heavy Industry and the shipowner company signed the delivery documents on behalf of both parties to deliver a 5,200 DWT multi-purpose dry cargo vessel.

On August 21st, the last vessel of the first series of 5200 DWT was signed and delivered, and the naming ceremony was held on August 23rd. The vessel was named “BORNHOLM”.

On August 23, the 4th 5,900 DWT multi-purpose dry cargo carrier was signed and delivered, which is also the finale of the first batch of this series of vessels, marking the successful delivery of all the four vessels of this series within 2024.
