Fujian Funing Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., a subsidiary of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group, laid keel for a marine environmental monitoring and investigation law enforcement vessel built for Xiamen Environmental Monitoring Center Station in Fujian Province.
It is reported that the vessel is the first marine ecological environment monitoring vessel in Fujian, with an overall length of 55.20 meters, a beam of 10.30 meters, a full-load displacement of 960 tons, a navigation area of domestic offshore navigation area, which classed by China Classification Society (CCS).
The vessel is mainly deployed for marine ecological environment survey operations within the sea area under the jurisdiction of Fujian Province.
It integrates the functions of marine environmental monitoring, environmental emergency response, environmental law enforcement, investigation and scientific research as well as popularization of science and patriotic education base.
