HHMC delivered a 2000T LEC for a Jack-up Wind Power Installation Platform

On August 26, Qingdao Haixi Heavy-Duty Machinery Co., Ltd(HHMC), a subsidiary of CSSC Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant (WMMP), successfully shipped a 2000T leg encircling crane (LEC) for the jack-up wind power installation platform of CRCC Harbour & Channel Engineering Bureau Group.

The crane’s main hook has a maximum lifting capacity of 2,000 tons, the secondary hook has a maximum lifting capacity of 800 tons, and the maximum lifting height is 180 meters above the deck.

Equipped with intelligent safety protection system, the crane has real-time status monitoring and fault alarm capability, which can ensure that the operator can quickly respond and take measures to protect the safety of lifting and hoisting operations.

The crane’s technical performance indexes are at the leading level in China, and it will be installed on H606 – CRCC self-propelled jack-up wind power installation platform, which can be used for offshore wind power installation operations in water depths of up to 80 meters, and has the ability to install different models of offshore wind turbines of 15 MW – 20 MW.
