Jiangnan Shipbuilding Welcomes Several Construction Nodes

On August 23, the No. 3 dock of Jiangnan Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), welcomed launching of a whole ship, as well as synchronized floating of a whole ship, two half-ships, and a fuel tank block.

The whole ship that launched this time is the second one of the series of 14,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container ships built by Jiangnan Shipbuilding for Singapore Pacific International Lines (PIL);The floating ship is the second in a series of MARK Ⅲ membrane 175,000m3 large LNG carriers built by Jiangnan Shipbuilding; The two half-ships floated are the bow and stern half-ships of the third ship in a series of 14,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container ships built for PIL; The synchronized floating of the fuel tank block belongs to the fourth subsequent ship in the series.

During the batch of ships launching, Jiangnan Shipbuilding not only has to face the test of high temperature weather, but also needs to coordinate the planning and make full preparations for the next round of docking period which is only 43 days.

How to improve the condition of whole ship and half ship floating? How to optimize the index for the series ship launching? With the coordination of resources and technological innovation, Jiangnan Shipbuilding realizes another breakthrough with its special targeted planning, long-term accumulated data and perfect matching accuracy.
