ZPMC shipped full-circle slewing crane/pile driver project

On August 20, Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC) successfully shipped the slewing and jib of full-circle slewing crane/pile driver project built for CCCC Sanhang Bureau. This project is thefull-circle slewing crane/pile driver independently developed and designed by ZPMC in China.

The 110m full full-circle slewing crane/pile driver can meet the requirement of 150 tons pile sinking, with an effective pile sinking depth of more than 95 meters. Equipped with centimeter-level piling positioning system, it can accurately locate the piles, and is suitable for piling operations in sheltered waters such as offshore and coastal areas. With the piling section removed, it can be used as a full-circle slewing crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 1,000 tons.

It can realize fast switching between piling and towing. The whole system integration and automation degree of the equipment reaches the domestic leading and international advanced level. The successful development of the project fills China’s gaps in the field of full-circle slewing crane/pile driver and adds strength to the construction of offshore engineering facilities in China.
