German shipowner took delivery of a 11,000DWT multi-purpose vessel from Sanfu Shipbuilding

On August 23rd, Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding (Sanfu Shipbuilding) held a signing and delivery ceremony of an 11,000DWT multi-purpose vessel with a German shipowner.

The 11,000DWT multi-purpose vessel has an overall length of 149.95 meters, a beam of 23.20 meters, a depth of 10.5 meters, and a design draft of 8.50 meters with a speed of 15.5 knots, which is classed by BV Classification Society.

It is reported that it is the third vessel of 11,000DWT multi-purpose vessel series delivered by Sanfu shipbuilding, which is a green, low-carbon and high-efficiency multi-purpose vessel, jointly designed by Sanfu Shipbuilding and a Holland Design Company. And the German owner has ordered 15 vessels of the same type in the shipyard.

The main engine of the vessel is MAN B&W 6G45 ME-C9.5, with two 250T gram cranes on the port side of the deck, with a maximum combined weight of 500 tons.

The most notable features of the vessel are: the design is arranged as a bow-type vessel, with a more open view of navigation and driving; ; the design is arranged with a spacious deck with an overall length of 128 meters and a 104-meter cargo hold;

The vessel is equipped with two two-deck hatch covers, the position of the deck hatch cover can be adjusted flexibly; two sets of movable bulkheads can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction, so that the cargo suitability has been greatly improved.
