Recently, Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC) held a signing ceremony for 2+2 38,000 DWT multi-purpose heavy lift vessels with Chipolbrok (Chinese－Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company), which is the first time for ZPMC to enter into the multi-purpose heavy lift vessel market.
The contracted vessels are 38,000 DWT multi-purpose heavy lift vessel equipped with three 250-ton cranes, with a combined lifting capacity of 500 tons.
Equipped with two extra-long cargo holds, the maximum length of which reaches 76.8 meters, and a full-access open deck, the vessel is particularly suitable for loading and transporting large machinery, equipment and large-scale project objects, featuring strong cargo suitability and large-scale project material transportation.
The cargo hold has a movable second deck and can be adjusted at different heights to flexibly load equipment cargoes of various sizes.The vessel is also equipped with a variety of energy-saving devices, high-voltage shore power systems, which, combined with the excellent line design, can further reduce energy consumption and emissions.
