China’s largest semi-submersible sea ranch aquaculture platform was completed

Recently, China’s largest semi-submersible sea ranch aquaculture platform “Xinhuan 1”, smoothly towed from Guangzhou Panyu Fuliangang waterway out of the harbor, sailing to Hainan Dongfang Port.

As previously reported, the platform was built by Guangzhou Shunhai Shipyards.

“Xinhuan 1” is 135 meters long, 30 meters wide and 20 meters high, with an overall aquaculture water body of 64,000 cubic meters.

Classed by Bureau Veritas, the total cost of the platform is more than RMB 60 million, and the annual production of fish can reach 2 million jin, with an annual output value of more than RMB 90 million.

It is equipped with advanced aquaculture and nursery equipment – 100kw photovoltaic solar green energy, which is a comprehensive platform integrating deep-water aquaculture, nursery, leisure fishing, and tourism.
