On August 16, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd,(SWS) a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), successfully held a steel cutting ceremony for a 114,000 DWT Aframax product tanker, which is built for Greece OCEANGOLD Company.
H1402 is the second 114,000 DWT Aframax product tanker built by SWS for Oceangold Company of Greece, which is also designed by SWS.
Classed by LR, this product tanker has an overall length of 249.95 meters, a beam of 44.0 meters, a depth of 21.2 meters, a design draught of 13.5 meters, and a design speed of 14.5 kn.
It is powered by a MAN B&W 6G60ME-C10.5 main engine, which meets the TI III specification.
At present, the detailed design of H1402 has reached 98% and all production preparations are being implemented as planned.
