On August 15, Fujian Funing Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., a subsidiary of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group, successfully signed three 12-meter electric ferries in Nanping City.
The ferry has an overall length of 12m, a width of 3m, a depth of 0.8m, a design draft of 0.38m, a speed of 10km/h, with a capacity of 10 passengers, and a design navigation area of inland waterways of Class C.The ferry will mainly navigate in the tributary waters of Minjiang River.
The design and construction of the ferry is an important initiative for Fujian Shipbuilding to deeply practice the concept of green development and help the goal of “Electric Fujian” to be realized, which will further promote the construction of beautiful villages and boost the development of rural revitalization.
