Greek shipping company Niovis Shipping has signed a contract with Japan’s Oshima Shipbuilding to build two 64,000 dwt bulk carriers, according to Trade Winds.
The new vessels are expected to be delivered in 2026 and 2027, and no further details about the new vessel’s cost and vessel specifications have been announced.
According to the official website, Niovis Shipping currently has a diversified fleet of 19 vessels covering Supramaxes & Ultramaxes bulk carriers, Aframax tankers, MR2 product tankers and MR1 product tankers.
