Jiangnan Shipbuilding launched two vessels

On August 11, Jiangnan Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), launched a 99,000 m³ very large ethane ethylene carrier (VLEC) and a 7,800 CEU PCTC. In addition, Jiangnan Shipbuilding also carried out half ship floating for a 99,000 m³ VLEC and a 7,800 CEU PCTC.

The launched two vessels are the third of 99,000m3 VLEC series built by Jiangnan Shipbuilding for Wanhua Chemical Group (Vessel H2783) and the first 7,800 CEU LNG dual-fuel ocean-going PCTCs series built for SAIC Anji Logistics (Vessel H2661). The two vessels carried out half ship floating are 99,000m3 VLEC series built for Southwest Maritime and the second 7,800 CEU LNG dual-fuel ocean-going PCTC series (Vessel H2662) built for SAIC Anji Logistics.

It is reported that the launching volume reached the highest peak since the 4th dock put operation, and it is also the first batch of PCTC transferred from the slipway to the dock to realize the construction mode of “PCTC VLEC synchronized construction”.

It is understood that the launched two vessels are scheduled to be delivered this year, It is understood that the two complete ships are scheduled to be delivered this year, and the launching of the two vessels ensures the successful completion of the annual task.
