On August 12, Seacon Shipping Group Holdings Limited (Seacon Shipping Group) made an announcement of ” Disclosable Transaction Disposal of a Vessel”.
The announcement disclosed that GOLDEN RIVER SHIPS LIMITED, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Seacon Shipping Group, as the seller, entered into an agreement with SHENXIN SHIP LEASING (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD, as the buyer. Based on this, the seller agreed to sell and the buyer agreed to purchase the vessel for a consideration of $32.1 million.
According to the announcement, the vessel is a bulk carrier of 36,357 gross tons, which was built in 2019 by XMXYG Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd.(XMXYG SOE).
