HD Hyundai Heavy Industries delivered 3 174,000 m3 LNG carriers to Capital Gas

HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has delivered three sister vessels of 174,000 m3 LNG carriers “Assos”, “Apostolos” and “Aktoras” to Capital Gas Ship Management, a Greek ship management service company.

The three sister vessels are part of a series of LNG carriers to be delivered by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries to Capital Gas by 2027, all with a cargo tank capacity of 174,000 m3 and equipped with the latest technologies such as MAN MEGA engines, air lubrication systems, and shaft generators. In addition, the vessels feature technologies designed to minimize methane leakage and carbon dioxide emissions to reduce their environmental impact.

From 2020 to 2023, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries has delivered the LNG carriers of same size and dimensions “Aristos I” and “Aristidis I”, “Aristarchos”, “Attalos”, “Adamastos”, “Asklipios”, “Asterix I” and “Amore Mio I” to Capital Gas.
