Dajin Heavy Industry hands over 1,600-ton wind power installation platform

Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (Dajin Heavy Industry) held a delivery ceremony for the large-scale wind power installation platform “Hengtong Haiyue” at its Nantong branch offshore base.

“Hengtong Haiyue” platform is designed by Shanghai Jiahao Marine Engineering Research and Design, and constructed by Dajin Heavy Industry. The platform has a localization rate of over 80% from core equipment to supporting components, and is equipped with a 1,600-ton leg encircling super crane, which is called a new generation of large-scale wind power construction tool.

The platform is also equipped with 4,000 square meters of super-large deck, variable load of more than 8,500 tons, four-truss pile legs with operating depth up to 70 meters and automatic lifting system, all-electric propulsion system, DP2 positioning system, etc.

It features a single maximum power of 20 megawatts offshore wind turbine installation capacity, with green energy saving, advanced equipment, higher operating efficiency, safety performance and other multiple equipment and system advantages, which is the fourth generation of the country’s leading self-propelled jack-up deep and distant sea large-scale wind power installation platform.
